Intensive Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Electricity In Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
Ukraine's power facilities have come under increased strikes in the past few days

During the night, Russian missile and drone strikes have caused electricity outages in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were plunged into darkness and dealt with problems to drinking water, as stated by city officials.

Meanwhile, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a different Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by area administrators.

Russian forces has increased strikes on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "substantial measures" from allies to exert influence on Russia.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but strong steps - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing defensive weapons and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a social media post.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and several dozen rockets attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

Energy officials said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were laboring to fix the damage.

A series of attacks damaged energy infrastructure and residential structures in Kyiv.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been hospitalized, according to city authorities.

Area administrators said the metropolitan region came under significant strikes overnight. A seven-year-old child was killed and several individuals were hurt.

The strikes come after periods of aerial attacks in the region, parts of which remain under the control of Russian forces.

The entire country is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to detect.

National leaders told the media that Russia was intentionally trying to damage the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting energy systems.

Officials stated utility staff and authorities were preparing for further attacks.
